Team Lebanon Inducted Into the Hockey Hall of Fame

April 23, 2017 marked the debut of the Lebanese ice hockey program, when team Lebanon faced and won over team Haiti by a score of 7-4. Thanks to the Hockey Hall of Fame, we are able to celebrate this historical moment. The inaugural jersey on display was worn by #7 Ricardo Tabet, when he scored Team Lebanon’s very first goal during its first official game.

The cedar is now a part of hockey history and we couldn’t be more proud to share this accomplishment with you!

A special thank you goes out to the current and past members of the board of the Lebanese Hockey Association, the players, coaches and staff, Lebanese ambassador Fadi Ziadeh and the Lebanese Consulate in Montreal and to all supporters who believed this could be possible.

"This photo is missing several people, who played a crucial role in making this happen and others who played an equally important role to continue to grow and push this project forward. As the founder, I would like to thank these individuals from the bottom of my heart for taking this project on with me and most importantly for believing this is possible." says founder - Pascal Malkoun (in top photo).
